Stand Back and Let Them Cook:

Had an interesting moment over Easter.

Sitting around a table with my wife’s uncles, listening to them go deep on fine dining, techniques, prep, details I hadn’t even heard of.

I had nothing to add.

Not because I was uncomfortable.
Not because I didn’t understand the conversation.
I just wasn’t in that world.

It was a good reminder:
Everyone has their lane.

Put me in a conversation about operations, revenue, lead flow, or stabilizing a property, I’m all in.

But the real value comes from knowing where you actually add something… and where you don’t.

That awareness matters more than trying to sound smart in every room.
